Lions Clubs everywhere support community eyesight and hearing conservation.

If you are in need of assistance obtaining a pair of glasses or a hearing aid, please fill out an application at the S.H.A.R.E. office located in Seneca at 708 East Main Street. Their phone number is (864) 882-3495.

Applications are generally picked up weekly, and eyeglasses requests are processed as funding is obtained from Lions club fundraising events - on a first come, first served basis. Community members needing hearing aids must be patient, as those applications are forwarded to Columbia for processing on a state level. Applications from residents outside Seneca are forwarded to their local club for processing.

Once an applicant is approved for eyeglasses, they will be directed - BY APPOINTMENT - to Dr. Forgnoni's office at Innovative Vision Center in Pendleton, for an exam. Special thanks to Dr. Forgnoni and the staff at Innovative Vision Center for assisting the Seneca Lions with outfitting over 100 applicants yearly with eyeglasses!
