Silverthorn Park Project

Silverthorn Park is a continuing major project for the Seeley Lions..

The Seeley Lions Club has been responsible for a major and continuing renovation project at Silverthorn Park, just a mile north of Seeley. A large log construction pavilion was erected, children’s playground equipment was installed, benches and tables added and a general cleanup of Silverthorn Lake's beach, picnic areas, and grounds was completed.

More recently, three pickleball courts were added to the tennis court at the park, thanks to Lions volunteers and volunteers from the Namekagon Pickleball group. Loaner pickleball paddles and balls are stored at the Park for public use and enjoyment.

The Seeley Lions continue to plan and raise funds for future additions and maintenance at the park.

Reserve the Park shelter by contacting the Town of Lenroot office at (715) 634-5673.

The Seeley Lions help support an annual pickleball tournament that raises funds for Silverthorn Park. Click here for photos of the winners of the 2024 Seeley Lions PIckleball Tournament. Photos courtesy of Tom Gleason.
