You'll find the Seeley Lions serving up smiles and good food at community events throughout the year, including the American Birkebeiner Ski Race in the winter, the Lumberjack World Championships in the summer and the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival and Birkie Trail Run in the fall. We serve!
The home of our Lions Club is in beautiful northwest Wisconsin in Seeley, about 10 miles north of Hayward. The community we serve is nestled between the popular destinations of the Namekagon River and Seeley Hills, where enthusiasts of cross country skiing, mountain biking, fat biking, road biking, ATV and water sports reside and gather for world-class events year round.
Seeley has a rich history, an involved community, and an active calendar that our club members enjoy dedicating time and energies to. Our club has about 35 members including several out of town members who serve on weekends and holidays. We focus on fundraising and serving the local community, but we also support regional and national human service, eyesight and health care initiatives.
The Seeley Lions PreFat Race is our largest fundraiser and has become a local classic. For more information and to register for the August 17, 2024 race, click HERE.
