Deroche Community Hall Rental Rates & Information
Weekday Rental Rates Monday thru Friday from 5:00pm
$40 per hour with a Minimum Rental Fee of $100. This includes Rentals for Community Meetings, Group Meetings, Business Meetings etc and does not include weekday Liquor serving or Fundraising events. Hall must be left clean in the same condition it was prior to Rental.The Damage/Security Deposit of $ 400.00 is at the discretion of Hall Rental Manager.
Weekend Rental Rates Friday 5:00pm thru Sunday & Statutory Holidays
$500 Daily Rental Fee which includes full use of the Hall & Facilities from 8:00am to 1:00am. New Years Eve is not included at this rate but can be negotiated. $400 Damage/Security Deposit Fee is required & is collected at time of signing the Agreement.
Use of Hall on Friday evenings for set up and/or Sunday AM for cleaning after your event is at the discretion of the Rental Manager, as well as hall availability and extra fees may apply
For weekend funerals, birthday parties, baby showers and wedding anniversaries etc, rental rates are $100 per hour with a minimum three hour ($300) rental. Damage/Security deposit at discretion of the Rental Manager.

Security/Damage Deposit
If a Damage/Security Deposit is required it will be collected at the time of Signing of the Rental Agreement. The Deposit will be returned, less any applicable penalties following an inspection after the Rental. PLEASE NOTE: The Damage/Security Deposit is used to secure the Reservation Date and will be forfeited in its entirety in the event of a rental cancelation following the signing of the rental agreement
All other Rental Fees must be paid two weeks prior to the Rental Agreement Date. Failure to do so may result in a cancelation of the Agreement
All Rentals that intend to serve Alcoholic Beverages require Liability Insurance, a BC Liquor Licence and Serving it Right accredidated Servers of at least 19 years of age. A liquor License costs approximately $90 and Liability Insurance is currently about $269. The Hall Rental Manager may at your request make arrangements with the Sasquatch Lions Club on your behalf to provide a Bar Service for your Rental Event. This will include Liability Insurance at $269, acquisition of the Liquor License at actual cost (~$90), provision of Ice, glasses, all liquor and mix and S.I.R. accredidated bartenders. Alcoholic beverages will be sold at $5.00 each and the amount per drink returned to the Event Licensee (if any) is negotiated in advance.
MUSIC COPYRIGHT FEES
If Background Music or Music and Dancing is offered at your event using pre-recorded (canned) music, SOCAN and Re-Sound Fees will apply. These fees are collected by the Deroche Community Hall and submitted to SOCAN & Resound on a quarterly basis. The fees are $50 for Background Music and $100 for Music with Dancing.
