Santa Clara Host Lions Club
Serving Santa Clara since 1947
Members come from all walks of life. We have professionals, educators, merchants and business people who make a cross section of the local community.
Lions are leaders who pledge to help those in the community who are less fortunate with an emphasis on helping those with sight related needs. Lionism is non-sectarian, yet it encourages religious observances. It is non-political, yet it encourages a lively interest in government and civic affairs.
The purpose of a Lions Club is to determine community needs and develop the means of meeting them, either with their own means or with other Lions and local agencies. Lions provide good fellowship and social life, while providing worthwhile humanitarian and community activities.
