FOOD 4 KIDS BACKPACK PROGRAM
Dear Fellow Lions and Friends,
San Diego TFC Lions Club of District 4-L6 (San Diego & Imperial Counties in California) just started a huge and very meaningful project with San Diego Food Bank in supporting the FOOD 4 KINDS BACKPACK PROGRAM at Kimball Elementary School in National City, California. Each Backpack contains enough food to see the students through the weekend. These kids belong to families considered to be Food Insecure, chronically hungry elementary school students from low-income households, who are at risk of going hungry over the weekend when free school meals are unavailable.
It is such an enormous responsibility and we would like to solicit your help supporting this project. Please visit http://www.fooddriveonline.org/sandiegofoodbank/LionsTFC and purchase/donate any food or amount of money to help the students at Kimball Elementary School.
