MEETINGS AND MEETING VENUES

All club meetings are conducted based on the Robert’s Rules of Order, The International Association of Lions Clubs Standard Form Constitution and By Laws revised July 8, 2014, and the Lions Club of Les Efforts By Laws revised May 2015.

From inception our regular meetings were held on the 1st and 3^rd  Thursday of each month 6.00 p.m. at the Lions Den located at Circular Road, San Fernando; while the Board meetings were held on the fourth Thursday of each month 6.00 p.m. at the homes of Board members or the Lions Den.   

However, later in the charter fiscal year 1992-1993 we began holding one of the regular meetings on the 3^rd Saturday of each month at 3.00 p.m. at the Den, but this was short lived.

During the fiscal year 2014-2015 concerns were raised about our ageing membership and the general crime situation in the country, and a decision was then taken to hold one regular meeting (only) on the first Thursday of each month, and the Board Meeting on the 3^rd Thursday of each month, effective January 2015.

Meetings are now held at the National Academy of Performing Arts (South) Todd Street, San Fernando.
