PACKING PARTY

The Salisbury, NC Lion's Club recently participated in a "Packing Party" for the Food For Thought organization. This organization provides backpacks filled with food to students who would not have anything to eat over weekends when they're not in school.

Some local high school students, who were studing proverty in our community, joined with us and enabled us to fill the balance of food bags needed for that week. Everyone who participated gained a better understanding of some of the needs in our area and are looking forward to another "Packing Party" in the fall.
