Prostate Cancer Screening 

Lions Clubs in various locations have been hosting days offering free prostate cancer testing. The Lions Club of Salisbury & District has hosted two PSA testing days, in May 2023 and September 2024, each providing vital health checks to our local community. 

On previous testing days, approximately 150 men participated, with around 10% advised to consult their GP promptly following their results. These events have proven to be an important step in early detection and proactive health care.

We’re pleased to announce that our next PSA testing day is scheduled for Saturday, 20th June 2026, with bookings opening in March 2026.

While the tests are offered free of charge to those who book, we kindly suggest a £10 donation to help cover costs, as each test incurs a fee of £26.

2025 events 

You can find us as the annual Christmas market in Amesbury where we will be holding a raffle and there are some fantastic prizes to be won - meet us there on the Amesbury High Street between 4-8pm on 22nd November 2025. 

We also attended the Durrington Car Show on 24th May 2025 and Amesbury Summer Fete on 21st June 2025.

We can often be seen collecting for Marie Curie and other local charities.
