The Sacramento Camellia Lions was chartered in Lions Club International on May 2017, and represents the Crocker Zone in the Sacramento Region of District 4-C5.  In September 2020, the Sacramento Camellia Lions Foundation was established and recognized as a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; tax exemption number 85-1545638

On this page you will find information of our upcoming volunteer opportunities, fundraising events, and photos of our club’s activities.

Our Foundation participates in a wide variety of community programs; such as, the prevention of childhood hunger, supporting victims of domestic abuse, and providing funds to train dogs for the visually impaired.  Past projects include providing support to families affected by local wildfires, underprivileged children in a local school, City of Hope, Canine Companions for Independence, My Sister’s House, Sacramento Food Bank, Wind Youth Services, and to an orphanage located in Bali.

With over 25 members, we proudly serve the greater Sacramento area; and strive to promote fellowship, camaraderie, and Lionism.  We meet every 2nd Thursday of each month at Lucky Jade Restaurant, 7007 S Land Park Drive, Sacramento, CA 95831.

We are always looking for more "service minded" people to help us in our efforts to serve our community so if you are interested in learning about Lionism and/or the Club please contact us at CamelliaLions@gmail.com.

The motto of every Lion is simply “We Serve”.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
