The Lions Motto

The Lions motto is "WE SERVE" or to put it another way or "where there’s a need, there’s a Lion"

These video stories provide an insight as to what it means to be a Lion.

Our Lions Club is an incorporated, not for profit community service organisation that has been serving the community since 1963. It is one of over 1,260 Lions Clubs across Australia. Our members are volunteers dedicated to serving our community wherever we can.

The following sites provide access to key information about Lions in Australia and of Lions Clubs International:

What’s in it for you?

Joining Lions gives you an opportunity to:

  • gain valuable life skills and satisfaction through serving others
  • socialise while working with a group of likeminded people
  • become another valued member of our Club serving our community

Membership Fees

We pride ourselves that 100% of funds Lions raise from the community is used for community service purposes. None of the community service funds raised go towards the administration costs of running our organisation.

The administration costs of running our volunteer organisation including the provision of services, support and insurance cover to its members are funded entirely by fees levied on every Lions members through:

  • a one off application fee when joining a Lions Club
  • a 6 monthly membership fee (less than the cost of a coffee a week)
