OFFICIAL MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETINGS
The regular meeting of the Rockford Lions Club was called to order on Monday,
November 26, 2012 by President Darrell Sheppard at 6:30pm.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Lion Ray led the song and Lion Richard
gave the blessing.
Following the evening meal Lion Darrell won the 50/50 drawing.
Lion Dan's Tailtwisting included the rebuilding progress in Haiti.
There was one correction to the Secretary's Report which was that Lion
Catherine had a published article in the Daily Standard not a poem. Following
that correction, the minutes were accepted.
Lion Ray gave his Treasurer's Report and it was accepted.
OLD BUSINESS:
(A) Concerning next year's Fish Fry, Lion Matt moved that we advertise & Lions
members sell tickets as well as the 8th graders. Lion Darrell will contact
Mendon and Willshire Lions Clubs about also selling tickets.
(B) Lion Matt reported that there is no progress on our new Web page due in
part to needing a group photo, so at next meeting we need as many
members present as possible for the photo...PLEASE PLAN TO
ATTEND.
(C) Past Variety Show DVD Project - It was decided that we will need to
advertise and also include an announcement in the Program that these
DVS's will be available for sale. Lion Mike motioned that ordering be
offered at the Variety Show and up to 1 week later at Henkle Insurance,
that they must be paid when ordered and offer a price break when ordering
2 or more. Motion accepted.
(D) It was decided that we not contribute to any of the trips requested by
students. Lion Neva mentioned that this type of donation was previously
turned down in a vote at a past meeting.
(E) Lion Dan motioned that we donate $200.00 to Austin Dennison's Eagle Scout
project of putting inground charcoal grills at Shanes Park. Motion accepted.
NEW BUSINESS:
(A) Due to the late date, we will not be going on a Christmas outing this year.
Lion Dick spoke for 40 tickets for next years' St Anthony Dinner Theater.
Lion Shorty motioned we go to St Anthony Dinner Theater for next years'
Christmas outing. Motion accepted
Lion Neva motioned to adjourn. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 8:15pm.
