Rockaway Lions Club supports our community through hands-on service, local partnerships, youth programs, and fundraising efforts that help people right here on the Oregon Coast.

Vision and Hearing Support

• Vision screenings, eye exams, and eyeglasses assistance
• Support for Lions vision programs, including the eye bank and Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation
• Hearing screenings and hearing aid assistance
• Lions Mobile Screening Unit

Youth and Family Support

• Support for local schools, including Neah-Kah-Nie School District #56
• Scholarships for local students
• Lions LEO Youth Club
• Holiday gift baskets for families in need

Community Projects and Local Support

• Support for the local food bank
• Rockaway Lions BINGO
• Seaview Lake and Lake Lytle dock project
• Woman’s Resource Center
• Special Olympics
• Supports Oregon SOLV Beach Cleanup

Camps and Partner Programs

• Camp Taloali for deaf and hard-of-hearing youth

Our Impact

Through Lions clubs and partner programs across Oregon, these efforts have helped provide meaningful support to communities statewide:

• 3,987 children received eyeglasses through 394 clubs
• 1,198 white canes provided to blind individuals
• $16,697.27 spent in support of school children
• 475,318 free meals  provided to those in need
• 12,617 Christmas baskets were distributed by 87 clubs
• $79,843 donated to welfare, civic, and community organizations
