LIONS CLUB MEMBERS CONDUCT ESSAY & PAINTING COMPETITION FOR CHILDREN
More than 500 school children participated in the annual walk in Essay & painting competition for children organised by the Lions Club of Riffa in co-ordination at the New Millenium School. The competition was split into three age group categories : Group A - 8to 10 years, Group b - 10 to 12 years and Group C - 12 to 15 years.
The topic for the Essay competiton was announced at the venue " Winners never Quit and Quiters never Win ", and the theme for the painting competition was peace. The first 3 winners will be announced in the local press, and they will be awarded trophies and certificates for thier achievement. The school with the highest number of student entries will also be recognized .
