Rhinelander Area Food Pantry
The Fourth Saturday of every month we assist with customer shopping and loading groceries

Annual Vision Screening
Every year, Lions partner with medical professionals and community to screen young children at the area schools. Early identification leads to timely referral, professional treatment, and improved or restored sight. In 2023 The Rhinelander Lions Club Screened a total of 849 children on 8 different days with 66 referrals.

Annual Rhinelander Lions Fisheree and Winter Festival
2nd Weekend in February - Hodag Park Boom Lake Boat Landing, annual event that for decades has meant funds to help people with a variety of physical problems.

Deer Hide Collection
Each fall we collect deer hides to fund scholarships to the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt, WI where we provide free camping for the blind, visually handicapped, hearing impaired, and disabled.

July 4 Parade
Rhinelander Lions Kiddies Parade-Downtown Rhinelander - every year we host the kiddie parade and award prizes.

We manage parking for one of the largest music festivals in Wisconsin.

Highway Cleanup
Hwy 8 - Spring & Fall Rhinelander Lions pick up trash along a parcel of Highway 8 from Rental Center to Golf Course Road

White Cane Days
White Cane Awareness Collection - Spring and Fall we set up outside local area businesses and collect donations for Lions Club vision projects and spread awareness of white can traffic and safety laws.

Christmas Community Dinner
Christmas Day we prepare over 500 Christmas Dinners for our local community, then serve or deliver them to homebound individuals.

The Table Meal
In November 2024 we will host The Table Meal st St Augustine's Church in Rhinelander.
This is a free community dinner open to all.

Eyeglass Collection Boxes
Rhinelander Lions made pedestals for our eye glass collection drop off sites around Rhinelander. We have collection sites set up at more than 20 area businesses.
