Meet Some of Your Rexton Lions

The Rexton Lions Club has approximately 40 Lions in its club. About 30 members are quite active within the club, planning, working and engaging with those who participate in our events. Meet Lion Leo! He has been a Lion with the Rexton Lions Club since 2002. A retired bus driver, he joins several other Lions who come together to work the Club’s bingo each Monday night! 

Meet Lion Chris!! He has been a Lion since 2015. He was a fisherman of lobster and snowcrab and he has also been an alcohol and drug counselor at Indian Island. He currently works at the Dorchester Federal Prison helping to rehabilitate prisoners to get them ready for their parole. Lion Chris is a competitive men’s traditional dancer at Pow Wows, and tonight, he is a bingo caller and is looking forward to giving away prize money!! “Everybody is a winner!” He says. 

Meet Lion Chris! He has been a Lion for about a year and a half and joined to meet new people and serve the community. He manages an IT help desk, and in his spare time, he is a DJ and Karaoke host and provides his services to Rexton Lions Club events. 

Meet Lion Megan!! She has been a Lion since 2019. She works from home as a drug access navigator for a pharmaceutical company. She is the Rexton Lions Club’s co-chair for Fundraising and plans many of the clubs activities! 

Meet Lion Ann!! She has been a member of the Rexton Lions Club for approximately a year and a half. She is a sea glass artist and you may find her at local markets selling her beautiful jewelry and other items. For the Club, Lion Ann is the chairperson for the kitchen committee. She and her team make all kinds of wonderful meals for various events held at the club. 

Meet Lion Arnold! A Lion for 15 years, he worked at a casket factory for 20 years and later drove trucks for Paturel Sea Food. Now retired, he sells early bird bingo cards on Monday nights. He enjoys being a Lion because of the fellowship and opportunities to help others.
