Club Projects

• Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers in Roanoke and Falls Church
  Collect and refurbishing of old, discarded eyeglasses and hearing aids. Finished products are distributed overseas to centers of great poverty in developing countries as well as locally.
• James A. Bland Music Contest  Annual music competitions for middle and high school students.
• Adopt-a-Highway
• Vision, hearing, diabetes, and glaucoma testing for members of the community using the Lions Club Mobile Health Screening Van.
• Support of local youth organizations including Reston Youth Baseball, South Lakes High School activities, Children's Hospital and Boy Scout Troop 1802.
• Support for local students learning English as a second language.
