Welcome to Randall-Cushing Little Elk Lions Club Website!
Autumn is officially here and I know I am feeling the changes. As many of us prepare for the cooler weather and events that come with it, we too need to get prepared! September 18, Stephanie, MaryJo, Geri and I attended the first of the 2018-2019 Zone Meeting held at the Twisted Sisters in Staples. It was a great turnout with close to 60 lions attending. This gives us a good idea for when it is our turn to host the second Zone Meeting November 7, 2018. Please come to our next regular meeting so we all can better plan for the event.
As of today, the 8th Annual Randall Holly Day will still be happening on Thursday December 6, 2018. As in the past it will be 4pm to 7pm. The Randall Area Business Group will be providing the music at the VFW, trolley rides and with the help of our club and the Randall Cushing Area Lions we should able to provide the rest of the holiday fun! At this point we have committed to Santa’s Workshop and do have 6 committed members for crafts but need a few more. If you know of extra volunteers that have always wanted to volunteer or help with Santa’s Workshop just ask them to join us. As many of you I am also so sad about Gosch’s Grocery Store closing. Hopefully the turnout will still remain high!
