Performance Report (2012-13)
Lion Friends –
Friends, Lions Club of Ranaghat West performs the duties towards the society in a realistic & professional view to serve better with a member strength of 127 who devoted their leisure to serve the community. We also promote the service minded new bloods by sponsoring a LEO Club with 26 Nos. Member strength who may the future of the Lionism.
Our biggest project towards society is Ranaghat Lions Eye Hospital serving 59011 OPD patients and 6451 operation patients with 8 Nos. of Vision Centre serving 8426 Nos. of patients & Out Reach Camp & Eye Screening Camp for School Children. Besides that this Club runs one General Health Care Unit serving 638 Nos. of patients, One Dental Care Unit with 1725 Nos. of patients, Ambulance Service with 291 Nos. of Patients. Recently a new era of service unit at Dey Chowdhury Para by name “LIONS SEVA SADAN” is being installed for total health care services.
Dist. 322 B1 entrusted Lions Club of Ranaghat West for running their glorious project of Lions Diwalima Diagnostic Centre. Friends we proudly declare that this project has a 50% Growth in the last Lionistic year 2012-13 providing service towards 23,078 Nos. of patients with 4 Nos. of Collection Centre having 583 Nos. patients.
Beside of these proactive service project this club performs moral liabilities towards the nature & society through Tree Plantation Program, Health Checkup Camp, Homeopathy Unit, Service Mela, Sit-N-Draw Competition and many others activities.
