To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Lions Clubs in Australia, Queanbeyan Lions have established a commemorative garden at Apex Park, Queanbeyan.
The garden also marks the 65th Anniversary of Lions Club of Queanbeyan and many members and volunteers, as well as wonderful help from staff of Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council, have contributed to a notable feature. The garden was officially opened by Lions District Governor Lorna Gordon and Mayor of QPRC, Kenrick Winchester.

LIONS COMMUNITY KIOSK
Discussions are taking place with Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council about the possibility of building a suitable kiosk in the CBD to be used by Lions Queanbeyan to sell sausage sandwiches and Christmas Cakes. It would also be available to other community groups as an outlet for their wares or fundraising. The above kiosk was spotted in Deniliquin NSW
