The Prince George Spruce City Lions Club was chartered in November 1965 with 45 members, as an off shoot of the Prince George Central Lions Club.

Some of our former activities include the Beer Gardens at the PG Exhibition, Christmas toys purchased and delivered to communities with other Lions Clubs, and fundraising to start numerous senior facilities in Prince George. Our club was also instrumental in the fundraising, construction and management of the Hart Recreation Center, and in the purchasing and renovating the Prince George Easter Seal House.
