FREE EYE EXAM AND EYEGLASSES TO NEEDY PEOPLE
Potomac Lions Club Foundation is a non-profit charity organization. As a part of our community outreach efforts and services, we arrange and facilitate vision, glaucoma and hearing screenings at public fairs and events.
Our other vision related activity is collection of used eye glasses for recycling purposes. All the eyeglasses collected will be delivered to the regional Lab, managed by Lions Community Outreach Foundation, which in turn sanitize, categorize by prescription, and prepare them to be shipped to the underdeveloped countries and regions for distribution. Our eyeglass collection boxes are placed at the Potomac Library and Potomac Community Center, in Potomac, Maryland.
We also provide for free eye exam and glasses for those who need financial assistance. If you, or someone you know, could benefit from this service, please download the attached Financial Assistance Application Form, complete and email to info@potomaclionsclub.org , or mail it to the address indicated on the form.
