Lions Landing Marina Park

For over 50 years, the Port Stanley Lions have operated Lions Landing Marina Park. Located just a few hundred metres upstream of the historic King George VI Lift Bridge, the property features 61 slips (51 serviced with hydro and water) that accommodate vessels up to 26 feet in length and up to an 8 foot beam. Docks are installed mid-April and removed in Mid-October.
While boaters enjoy reserved dockside parking and picnic tables, the remainder of this beautiful green space is open to the general public, including a serviced, cement-floored picnic pavilion which can be booked for special events at no charge. The site includes 4 Jimmi-John washroom units and is fully wheelchair accessible including the picnic tables and the Jimmi-John near the picnic shelter.
The Lions Landing boaters are a socially active group, organizing a number of events each summer including a meet & greet, Christmas in July, chili cook off, 50's dance, yearly boat inspections by the local Power & Sail Squadron, closing pot luck BBQ and a 9 hole golf tournament at the nearby Kettle Creek Golf and Country Club.

Port Stanley Lions / Shoppers Drug Mart Annual "Marr Family" Golf Tournament & Fish Fry
On June 1st, 2013, 132 golfers once again descended on Kettle Creek Golf and Country Club in Port Stanley, chased around a little white ball, scarfed down countless pounds of battered Lake Erie yellow perch, and, while they were at it, raised over $10,000 for the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital and other local community projects.
With the help of our key corporate sponsors, the Shoppers Drug Marts of St. Thomas and Aylmer, our Lunch, Dinner and Cart sponsors (Wendy’s, Port Stanley Firefighters Association, and Greenlane Community Trust, respectively), the 4th Annual Port Stanley Lions Marr Family Golf Tournament was able to surpass the goal of $10,000 toward establishing a laparoscopic bowel surgery program at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
