The Port McNeill Lions Club was charted on April 4th, 1967

May 1967     Painted the Community Hall

June 1969     First Secondary Scholarships ... todate over $75,000.00

July 1969      Bought first ambulance $1,000.00 Converted Cadillac Hearse

Feb. 1972     Bought second ambulance   $6500.00

July 1965      Paid 1/3 of a new swimming pool    $33,333.33

Nov. 1975     First Camp Shawnigan Campership   Over $10,000.00 todate

Dec. 1975     First Timmy Telethon  todate   $50,000.00

Nov. 1976     Bought Zamboni for Arena   $18,000.00

April 1978     "Jaws Of Life"   $12,000.00

March 1979    "Jaws of Life Emergency Vehicle"    $20,000.00

June 1984     Moved into Current Lions Den  $20,000.00

Nov. 1991      Construction Of Seniors Complex   $23,000.00

Continued To Support Youth  

Boy Scouts and Girl Guides   Since 1975

Contined to support the Breakfast Program in our local schools
