The Point Venture Lions are people who are willing to give their time, energy and resources to make our world a better place. Lions serve to make a difference to the quality of life for persons with disabilities, the poor, the sick, the young and the aged.

Our History
We started originally as a branch of the Lago Vista Lions Club in 2005. The Point Venture Lions Club was chartered in March 2006, and has grown steadily with over 69 active members in 2025
Point Venture Lions Services
- Support of POA events: organizing and providing workers for; Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July, Holiday decorating.
- Santa in the Village, Haloween Celebration
- Trash clean up of Lohman Ford Rd, Point Venture park and Village streets
- Eyeglass Recycling
- Child Sight Vision Screening (with LV Lions)
- Shop for Blue Santa
- Holiday Food Drive
- LVISD programs: Peace Poster Contest, Arbor Day (Plant the Promise)
- Upkeep of Balcones Canyonland Project
- Lions Camp workdays and “Feed the campers” days
