  • Climate Summit - Randy Weintraub, PhD at Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science has collaborated with Lions and Leos to host a Climate Summit at Plainsboro Library.

  • March 20, 2025 – 10am to 10pm – Romeo’s Restaurant Fundraiser – Plainsboro Lions hosted our first fundraiser of 2025. Lions, family, friends and supporters all gathered to eat, celebrate the first day of Spring and support our Club.

  •  Lions Cleanup of Lenape Trail. Members of Plainsboro Lions Club volunteered for a total of 15 hours and removed 10 large bags of trash.

  • Plainsboro Lions participated and assisted with NJ Lions District 16J and MD16 Leo Club Blood Drive and Vision Screening

  • Plainsboro Township Annual Stream Cleanup – To celebrate Earth Month, Plainsboro Lions joined hands with Plainsboro Township to clean up our roads and parks. It was a great way for members to work together to keep our parks and waterways clean and improve wildlife habitat.

  • Plainsboro Lions will be running a Game/Activity table at Plainsboro Founders Day

Club Activities/Events 2024

January 20 Community Outreach at the Plainsboro Recreation Center during the Muslim Heritage Day Festival. 
January 28 Community Outreach at the Wicoff House Museum during "Around the World in 80 Minutes." 
March 16 Plainsboro Lions Club Charter Celebration Lunch at Romeo's Restaurant 
March 24  Complimentary vision screenings for community members with 25 screenings completed at the Plainsboro Preserve Egg Hunt festival. 
March 25 Eyeglass Collection :  collected 50 eyeglasses which we donated to the Lions Recycling Center in Ewing. 
March 30  Complimentary vision screenings for community members with 91 screenings completed at the Wicoff House Museum Spring Egg Hunt. 
April 13 Members participated in the 18th Annual Watershed Stream Cleanup. 
May 4 Plainsboro 45th Founders Day. Members ran a Food Concession Stand. 
May 11 Marketplace at the Rescue Squad : Lions purchased a table and sold Mother's Day gifts. 
May 18 Lions did a community vision screening at Plainsboro Public Library and completed a total of 50 screenings. 
June 1 Lions hosted a Composting Workshop in collaboration with Rutgers Cooperative Extension at Plainsboro Public Library. 
July 31 Eyeglass collection : collected 125 eyeglasses, and 50 cases which we donated to the Lions Recycling Center in Ewing. 
August 9 The Plainsboro Township Lions hosted a Panera Bread Fundraiser. 
August 11 Lions adopted all the drains on Edgemere Avenue from Plainsboro Road to Maple Avenue through Plainsboro Township's "Adopt a drain" program. We spent 2 hours cleaning the drains on this road. 
September 21 Monroe Township Green Fair community outreach event 
October 6 Environmental Workshop with Mike Pisauro, Esq., Director of the Watershed Institute. 
October 20 Eye Health Workshop with Dr. Paul Neiheiser, Allied Vision 
November 10 5K/3K walk/run for charity. Proceeds will go to Plainsboro Food Pantry.
