2014 STURGEON HUNT      October 5th, 2014

MEENAN'S COVE, QUISPAMSIS

The Pickwauket Lions Club had another successful turn out, on Sunday October 5th, for the 27^th annual Great Sturgeon Hunt. With the inclement weather, we still had over over 90 anglers arriving at Meenans Cove to chase down the elusive sturgeon.

The big winner this year for the biggest fish caught was Gary Carter. He walked away with the trophy and cheque for over $1,000.00 because he had three of the top 5 fish.
