Penzance Lions Club many fund-raising events are revolved around the annual events in the Penzance and West Penwith area. We also hold a monthly popular Quiz and raffle at the West Cornwall Golf Club as well as individual local fundraising events (See calender section of this website) for up and coming events. We donate money raised from these fundraising activities to many good causes in need both locally and internationally (See where the money goes section of this website) for where yhe donated money went for the last few charter years. We donated money during lockdown even though we were not able to fund raise! 

Usually, we are busy during Christmas attending local events as well as funding events for local organisations in need but this has been curtailed somewhat due to Covid but hopefully this will resume fully in future years to bring the festive spirit to the Penzance area community.

We are involved in the Lions International "Message in a Bottle"  project where we deliver bottles to Pharmacies and GP surgeries for patients to store in the fridge with vital medical information in emergencies

We also collect old spectacles and hearing aids to send to developing Countries for their people who desperately need these items,
