The Lions have been serving the people of Pendleton since 1950.
Here is just some of what the Pendleton Lions do:
- Provide Sight & Hearing Assistance and recycle glasses, sun glasses and hearing aids
- Provide funds to the BMCC Foundation for Emergency Scholarships and BMCC Car Show concession stand to benefit the Diesel Mechanics program
- Provide assistance to the National Guard Family Support Group
- Provide Camp Meadowood Springs speech camp scholarships
- Conduct food drives for St. Mary’s Outreach food pantry
- Support local school programs including Flags for 1st Graders, and Peace Poster Contest
- Perform Salvation Army Christmas bell ringing
- Support Lions Flag Park & Pendleton City Parks tree planting
- Contribute to Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation (OLSHF)
- Contribute to Pendleton’s Main Street flower basket beautification project
- Contribute to the BMCC Community Christmas Dinner
- Help support the Pendleton Neighbor-2 -Neighbor homeless shelter and Sunday AM breakfast
- Help support Pendleton High School alcohol-free graduation activities
- Smoke detector installation in conjunction with the Pendleton Fire Department
- Farmer’s Market distribute kid’s sunglasses
