Pefferlaw Lions-Pefferlaw Ontario
The Pefferlaw Lions Club , chartered in 1956, currently has 34 members who give their time freely to help those in need. We meet the first and third Mondays of each month for a 6:30 dinner meeting (Once per month) at the Pefferlaw Lions Community Hall (38 Petes Lane, Pefferlaw On.)
We are one of over 45,000 clubs that comprise Lions Clubs International, the largest service organization in the world with over 1.3 million members in 205 countries. Lions are know world wide for eye research and their service to the blind.
In addition to eye research, the Pefferlaw LIons provide support to many local charitable organizations and community efforts we also grant bursaries to the Sutton High School and sponsor students at Morning Glory Public School in Public Speaking Contests, just to name a couple.
