**** September 14th 2019: Donation to Salvation Army

Paramaribo East Lions Club donated supplies to the Salvation Army

on Saturday 14 September 2019.

The donation consisted, among other things, of eggs, snacks, water, juice and school supplies.

These supplies will be used for the children who will attend the

Summer Bible school that starts on.Wednesday, September 18th 2019 and ends on Friday, September 20th 2019.

** August 2019: Donation Ashiana Retirement Home

On Saturday, August 17 2019, Paramaribo East Lions club,

together with Paramaribo East Leo Club,

donated some medical items to Ashiana Retirement home.

The donation was made possible in part by Lion Leny Soeterbroek

from the Netherlands, together with her friends and family.

The donation included wheelchairs, shower and toilet chairs,

rollators, a patient lift system and a shower trolley.
