Projects of July 2011
3rd July 2011 : Distributed fruits and sweets at Bal Niketan , Sector 15 Chandigarh to 45 orphan girl children in the memory of Late Ms. Kalpna Chawla .President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia , Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Gurmail Singh and Lion Ragbir were present.
5th July 2011 : Langar (Breakfast) for nearly 185-190 leprosy patients was organized at Kusth Ashram Sector 47, Chandigarh.President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia , Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg were present.
6th July 2011 : In the memory of Late Lion Pawan Chaudhry’s Birthday Club organized three projects. President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Satnam Singh Randhawa ,Lion Gurmail Singh and lion Gurdas Ram were present.
1. Stationary (Pens/ Note books) were distributed to 50 girl students of Government Model School, sector 15 , Chandigarh.
2. Sweets were distributed to nearly 24 elderly at Old Age Home, Sector 15, Chandigarh.
3. Distributed fruits and sweets at Bal Niketan , Sector 15 Chandigarh.
8th July 2011 : Ceiling Fan was donated at Government Model Sr. Secondary School ,Sector 37 Chandigarh.President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg , Lion Jaswinder Singh were present.
15th July 2011 : Medical Camp was organized at Bapu Dham Colony , Sector 26 Chandigarh. 55 Patients were checked by Dr. D.K. Chabra. Free Medicines were distributed. The Camp was organized in association with CIPLA.President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg , Lion Satnam Singh Randhawa , Lion Shashi Kuthiala were present.

4th August 2011 : Distributed sweets and usable old clothes to needy people at Sanatam Dharam Mandir Sector 23 Chandigarh. President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg , Lion Shikha Garg were present . The project was sponsored by Lion Kamaldeep Garg.
7th August 2011 : A mega tree plantation camp was organized at Aarzoo resorts , Mubaarakpur Road. Nearly 500 trees and plants were planted in 3 days.President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Lion Kuldip Kuthiala, PDG, Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Shashi Kuthiala, Lion Satnam Singh Randhawa, Lion Shikha Garg, Lion Jaswinder Singh, Lion Vijay Dhawan , lion Rakesh Tangri, Lion Gurmail Singh and Lion Ragbir singh were present. The project was sponsored by Lion Vijay Dhawan.
22nd August 2011 : Langar (Lunch) for nearly 190 leprosy patients was organized at Kusth Ashram, Sector 47 Chandigarh.President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Shashi Kuthiala, Lion Satnam Singh Randhawa, Lion Shikha Garg and lion Neelam Bhatia were present. The project was sponsored by Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia.
28th August 2011 : Blood donation camp was organized at Lalru Mandi in the supervision of the team from General Hospital Sector 16 Chandigarh. 145 units of blood were donated by donors. All donors were honored with Air Bags, Mementos and certificates.President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Shashi Kuthiala, Lion Satnam Singh Randhawa, Lion Jaswinder Singh, lion Gurdas Ram, Lion Gurmail Singh and Lion Ragbir singh were present. Lion Jaswinder Singh was chairman of the project.
29th August – 30th August 2011 : Usable old clothes were distributed to nearly 20 needy people at different places in chandigarh.President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Secretary Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Neelam Bhatia and Lion Shikha Garg were present. The project was sponsored by Lion Kamaldeep Garg and Lion Shikha Garg.
30th August 2011 : Blood donation camp was organized at SD College Sector 32 Chandigarh in the memory of Late Pt Mohan Lal. The Camp was organized in the supervision of the team from Government Medical College Sector 32 Chandigarh. 220 units of blood were donated by donors. All donors were honored with pens, mementos, certificates and refreshment.President Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia , President donated blood 62nd time and was honored by team from GMC-32. Lion Shashi Kuthiala, Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Jaswinder Singh, Lion Satnam Singh Randhawa, Lion Surjit Kaur, Lion Sant Kapoor and Lion Gurdas Ram were present.

5th September 2011 : On the occasion of teacher’s day 6 teachers of Government Model School, Sector 37 Chandigarh were honoured. Mrs Indra Dhindra Principal, Mr. D.S, Kainth Lecturer in Economics, Mrs Rajni Garg Lecturer in Mathematics , Mrs Indra Rana DPE, Mrs Kamlesh Chaudhry Lecturer in Physical Education and Mrs Seema Chaudhry were honored for their contribution in the field of education. Lion Bhupinder Bhatia, Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Jaswinder Singh, Lion Raghbir Singh,, Lion Satnam Randhawa, Lion Sudesh Randhawa, Lion Surjit Kaur, among others were present on the occasion.
10th September 2011 : Usable old clothes were distributed to nearly 35 needy people at different places in chandigarh.Lion Shashi Kuthiala , Lion Kamaldeep Garg, and Lion Shikha Garg were present. The project was sponsored by Lion Kamaldeep Garg and Lion Shikha Garg.
15th September 2011 : A MEL JOL program was organised at Old age Home, Sector 15 Chandigarh. Lunch, Cultural program and indoor games were organised with 23 old elderly people. Lioness President Surinder Kaur was Chief Guest. Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Shashi Kuthiala, Lion Satnam Singh Randhawa, Lion Jaswinder Singh were present on the occasion.
21st September 2011 : On the occasion of World Peace day , Students of Government Model School Sector 37 chandigarh took the oath for peace at morning assembly. Lion Bhupinder Bhatia conducted the oath ceremony. 20 employees of PSEB took oath for peace. Lion Gurmail Singh and Lion Gurdas Ram conducted the oath. 15 Labour children at Jharmajri took the oath for peace . Lion Kamaldeep Garg and Lion Shikha Garg conducted the oath.
25th September 2011 : Blood donation camp was organized at Community Hall Sector 21 Chandigarh. The Camp was organized in the supervision of the team from PGI. Sector 12 Chandigarh. 144 units of blood were donated by donors. All donors were honored with pens, mementos, certificates and refreshment.Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Lion Shashi Kuthiala, Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Jaswinder Singh, Lion S S Randhawa & Lion Surjit Kaur were present.
25th September 2011 : A Mega Medical Check up Camp was organized at Community Hall Sector 21 Chandigarh. 330-335 people were checked in field of Dental/Eyes/Cardio/Ortho along with Lab tests of Blood Sugar and bone density. The Camp was organized in the supervision of the experience team from IVY Hospital,Mohali. Mr. Barinder Singh, IAS, DC Chandigarh was Chief Guest.Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Lion Shashi Kuthiala, Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Jaswinder Singh, Lion S Sh Randhawa, Lion Surjit Kaur were present.
27th September 2011 : Reiki Camp was organized at Sood Bhawan Sector-44, Chandigarh. 65 people were checked under chairmanship of Lioness Harbir Kaur.Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Lion Shashi Kuthiala, Lion Kamaldeep Garg, Lion Gurmail Singh, Lion Neelam Bhatia & Lion Surjit Kaur were present.
27th September 2011 : Lion Surjit Kaur donated Rs. 6000/- to a cancer patient for Cameotherpy to be done at PGI Sector 12 Chandigarh.
28th September 2011 : A Acupressure camp was organized at Gurudwara Sector 21, Chandigarh under expertise of Dr. Bhatia. 165 patients were checked.Lion Bhupinder Singh Bhatia, Lion Ragbir Singh, Lion Jaswinder Singh, Lion Neelam Bhatia were present.
