Scholarships for Graduating Seniors
Two scholarships are available each year for graduating seniors:
The Lion Dennis Dulniak Book Scholarship and the YES Trust Fund Scholarship
The Lion Dennis Dulniak Book Scholarship awards $1000 to one deserving graduating senior from each of the following high schools: Paul J. Hagerty High School, Oviedo High School & Winter Springs High School. Applications must be postmarked by February 16, 2024. Download an Application or email OWSLions@gmail.com for more information.
The Youth Exchange Scholarship Trust fund (YESTF) sponsors multipe $1000 scholarships each year to seniors graduating from high schools in Florida's 35-0 district. This district includes schools in Orange, Seminole, Brevard, Citrus, Flagler, Hernando, Lake, and parts of Levy, Osceola, Polk north of Hwy 50, Sumter and Volusia counties.
This Scholarship was created by the Lions Clubs of District 35-0 to establish a suitable Memorial to commemorate the untimely death of Paivi Harittu, from Paimio, Finland. Miss Harittu, a Youth Exchange student traveling under the auspices of Lions Clubs International Youth Exchange Program, lost her life in a tragic automobile accident in Orlando on the evening of July 4, 1983. Scholarships will be presented to outstanding students and may be used for educational purposes or other educational travel. Applications must be postmarked by February 9, 2024.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
