COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

We welcome men and women who are interested in giving back to their community.  Below are some of the upcoming Otta Gateway Lions community projects.

Donation of Free Eye Glasses to those living with poor sights in our communities  

Every Year, Otta Gateway lions club, Lagos joined our district 404B4 Nigeria to support those who cannot afford the cost of medical / reading eye glasses in local communities. Over 300 free eye glasses was donated in 2023. Support and Make Your Mark- donate today.

Environmental  Advacacy and Campaign

We extend our community cleaning to the sub-urban of Lagos. Over 700 volunteers participated in the cleaning of Badagry town in 2023. This year 2024 / 2025, we are going to focus on educating people in the communities on the need to be conscious of their environment; drainage blocking, Recyling, and Waste management. Safety for All 

Tenths of Nigerians, including children, women, men and the vunerables died, trying to cross the roads in our communities. This 2024/2025 service year, we are going to errect safety signposts (N150,000 each) around hot spots where these accident usually occur.  Make Your Mark. Capacity Development for Youths & Small Business Owners 

Our 2024/2025 empowerment program will focus on kwnowledge transfer through seminars and trainings in our community. Undergraduates, small business owners, stay at home mom, and artisian will be supported and engaged with Seminars and trainings on Business Creations and Growth, including how they can market their businesses online to make money or increase sales. Encourage Children to read and be Educated

Lack of education, including educational materials, books and good outfits can lead to Inferiority complex in children in public Primary school. These deficiencies most times kill morale and limit children from attaining their potentials. Support our empowerment program for children in public Primary schools by donating school sandals, note books, including books on paedophiles to encourage childs' education in our communities. We can jointly donate a pair of made in Nigeria school sandal and a paedophile educative material to one primary school pupil at N15,000 only. Make Your Mark- donate today

 Lions Give to Local Citizens for a Merry Christmas

We target Third week of December 2024 to gather together with free givers like you to provide Boxes of food to tenths of needy families in our communities. Give joy and smiles this Xmas.
