Our Story 

Orange Cove Lions Club — Serving Since 1947

The Orange Cove Lions Club was chartered in October 1947 with sponsorship from the Kingsburg Lions. Over the decades, countless residents have proudly worn the Lions pin, helping shape a strong tradition of service in our small agricultural community. During the 1963–64 Lions year, the club reached an impressive 69 members, with its biggest fundraiser centered around the popular Fresno Fair.

As time passed, some of our original members moved away, slowed down, or simply completed their years of service. Today, the club stands with 11 dedicated members—small but mighty—and stronger than ever in spirit. In 2025, our club made history by electing our first-ever female president, ushering in a new era of leadership and opportunity.

Still Serving- 

Serving the Orange Cove community since 1947, this four-digit chartered club has been reborn and refreshed after generations of dedicated leaders. With new members stepping forward and bringing fresh energy, the club is once again thriving and ready to expand its impact.

The Orange Cove Lions welcome community input and seek meaningful ways to meet local needs. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are invited to join in service, discover their passion, and help shape the club’s future.

As a community of 10,000 residents with a rising generation eager to make a difference, Orange Cove is full of potential. The Lions are rebuilding, renewing, and ready to serve—and there’s room for everyone to be part of this next chapter. 💛🦁
