We have been proudly serving as part of Lions Clubs International for 50 years. In that time, The Odell Lions have provided direct assistance to individuals with vision, hearing as well as other impairments or disabilities. Each year at Christmas time, members of our club, known as Christmas Angels, volunteer their time to shop for clothing for the children of low income families. The club hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt and annual Halloween Party & Costume Contest for the children in the area. In the Summer, the club sponsors Odell Days, the town's annual festival, for the families of our community and provides a venue for other area organizations to raise money. Additionally, throughout the year the club holds blood drives in conjunction with the American Red Cross. We have also given generous support to our area churches, our local veterans, our local school programs, a newly opened food pantry, a music boosters program, and many other causes that serve the community. All of this would not be possible without the time and talent of our members through volunteerism, generous contributions from area businesses, as well as various fundraising efforts.
