Oconee Lions Club Golf Tournament

Each Year the Oconee Lions Club sponsors a Golf Tournament at Lane Creek Golf Course in Oconee County. This is  the largest fundraiser for the club. The two main Lions projects that Oconee Lions actively support are the Georgia Lions Lighthouse (GLL) Foundation and Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind (GLCB). A significant portion of the golf tournament proceeds go to help support GLL and GLCB.

Chicken BBQ

The club has an annual Chicken BBQ as one of our fundraisers. We sell tickets, purchase the ingredients, cook, and prepare around 500 chicken plates for this event.

Chicken Mull

What is chicken mull? Chicken mull is a Northeast Georgia delicacy  consisting of ground chicken, crushed soda crackers, milk and additional spices. Each year our club cooks and prepares quart containers of this to sell to the public. Just a great  way to have a meal to keep warm on a cold autumn or winter night.
