“We Serve”
....the Motto of the Norwin Lions Club.
“Not above you, not beneath you, but with you”
WE are an all-volunteer service organization whose goal is to aid & support the local community when a need arises.
There are many programs we sponsor, some of which are providing eyeglasses and hearing aids to those who are in need, as well as supporting various charity initiatives, such as Leader Dogs for the Blind, and assisting food banks. As a part of Lions Clubs International, we also rise up to support and provide aid to victims of natural disasters all over the world. One of our major local programs is our Kitty Sack Project. Where we are actively working to assist food insecure children and their families in the Norwin School District by providing grocery store gift cards.
Simply put - we raise money to give it away.
- If you find yourself looking for a way to ‘give back’, but are afraid of making a huge commitment of time...
- Please consider joining us!
-Members are not required to attend meetings or actively participate in any project.
Help out when you can, as much as you can.
-We offer a no obligation opportunity for you to be a fellow volunteer.
Monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Norwin Area Chamber of Commerce. (Located at 321 Main Street, Irwin, PA 15642)
