As a result of our fund raising efforts each year, the Northport Lions donate funds to a wide range of deserving people and organizations which include for example : 

Leelanau Christian Neighbors, Leelanau Township Library, Northport performing Arts Center, Music In the Park, Northport Community Band, Leelanau Investing for Teens ( LIFT),  5 Loaves to Fish, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Paws with a Cause, Eversight, Kidsight, Lions Bear Lake Camp, and Remain In Touch.

A major focus, as is the case with Lions International, is assistance to the Blind and visually impaired.  We also endeavor to provide discretionary funds to community members in need of services and support in cases of physical and financial challenges, with first priority to Leelanau Township residents.  

Financial assistance is also directed to community projects unique to the common good and well-being, as well as Lions Club state, national and international organizations, projects or programs.
