Assisted with school vision screening at Sacred Heart, St. Anthony, and Holy Family Schools. One hundred and fifty-six students were screened.

Golf Scramble
September 6, 2024
Fifth annual New Albany Lions Golf Scramble was held at Old Capital Golf Course in Corydon, Indiana. Twenty-two teams took part and over $13,300 was raised to support the club's community services and projects.
School Vision Screening
August 2, 2024
Assisted with a school vision screening at Bradie Shrum Elementary School, Salem, Ind., at a back to school event. Ninety-five students were screened.
St. Mark's Kids Health Fair
July 27, 2024
Lions Club members participated at the annual St. Mark's Kids Health Fair. The Club provided free vision screening and vouchers for those needing further eye exams by an optometrist. Sixty-five individuals were screened at the event.
New Albany Housing Authority Back to School Bash
July 25, 2024
Lions Club members participated at the annual New Albany Housing Authority Back to School Bash. The Club provided free youth vision screening exams and vouchers for additional eye exams by a professional optometrist if needed. Fifty-four individuals were screened at the event.
Scholarship Dinner
June 10, 2024
Club's annual Scholarship Dinner. Three $1,000 scholarships were awarded to three graduating seniors to help with college epenses. Two of the scholarships went to New Albany High School graduates and one to a Prosser graduate.

Assisted with school vision screening at Fairmont and Slate Run Elementary Schools in New Albany. One hundred and forty-four kindergarten students were screened.

Assisted with school vision screening at Mt. Tabor Elementary School in New Albany, Ind. One hundred and thirty-seven kindergarten students were screened.
St. Mark's Health Fair
February 24, 2024
Members organized and helped serve at the vision clinic of the annual health fair. One hundred and eighty-nine individuals were given free professional eye exams, fitted glasses, readers, sunglasses, and, if necessary, referals for additional examinations and specially made glasses.
