Lions Club of Nedumbassery Greater came in to existence on 1st January 2010 as an extension club of Airport. Started with Ln. Roshan John as Charter President and now the club is in to its 7th year of existence with 23 members.

We strive to better ourself year on year to penetrate deeper to the requirements in and around our society and try to find solutions for genuine problems on time.

In fact, globally we are at the threshold of yet another revolution in information technologies and communications, inventions of medicines and application and up-gradations all over the world. Besides, due to the technological innovations and explosions, the world has become a global village. Therefore, it goes without saying that as Lions, we  can make our due contributions for the alleviations and mitigations of the sufferings of the under privileged in a more efficient way than as an individual.

As the great saint, Swami Vivekananda said—“If you want to serve the God, serve the poor”. Let us make a start; after all, a journey of thousand miles starts with a single step. Let us practice the motto—‘Think globally, Act locally.
