Club President - Lion Dr Charles Masulani

Charles, a qualified public health expert, has significant experience in health service management, research, and education. He has been involved in a number of consultancy projects including Norwegian Church Aid and the Christian Health Association of, Malawi (CHAM) just to mention a few. A peer reviewer, Associate Editor, and seasoned publisher, Charles has been instrumental in the promotion of Mental health evidence practice in, Malawi and is involved in research at Saint John of God College of Health Sciences and College of Medicine. Charles worked with Guilleme and Mua Mission hospitals, before joining St. John God Community service in 2002. He then rose to the position of Program Manager in 2006. In 2013 he was appointed CEO of Malawi. Charles holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a Master’s degree in Public Health, and a Doctorate degree in Public Health Research from the University of Malawi.

Club Secretary - Lion Daniel Nyirenda

Club LCIF Coordinator - Lion Lillian Ziyenda Katenga-Kaunda

Lillian, has a Master’s Degree in international community health and is a current PhD student with the University of Oslo in Norway undertaking research in developing solutions for maternal and child nutrition. She has 20 years’ experience in public health especially in piloting interventions; worked as an advisor to the Ministry of Health on mainstreaming of ready-to-use Therapeutic food in the management of acute malnutrition under the Community Based. Therapeutic Care (CTC) program, and the introduction of infant HIV diagnostic in health care system. Now working as a Director of health and social services for the Mzuzu city council. She leads a team that manages and coordinates sustainable waste management, WASH, disease surveillance, regulation of food related business and social services. Lillian is a goal-getter with records of accomplishment in driving change through local and coordinated initiatives. She has a passion for community work, currently involved in social entrepreneurship, mobilizing rural women in Agri-business; also serve as a board member in a number local NGOs in community development. Lillian spends her quality time farming and also has interests in wellness activities like hiking and adventure and enjoys eating local and organic foods. 

Club Membership Chairperson - Lion Chiza Nyirongo

Chiza is a multi-skilled development practitioner. He spent 6 years with Rural Foundation for Afforestation (RUFA), coordinating Environmental and Agricultural projects funded by European Union, Harvest Help, Find Your Feet, Development Fund of Norway, UNDP and others. Chiza also spent two years at the Development Fund of Norway in Oslo, Norway, working in the International Department as part of Capacity Building. He is a project management specialist and has diversified personal skills, namely, project management, M&E, proposal development and writing, research and mentoring. He also has excellent interpersonal skills, people management and networking skills. He is currently working with Mzuzu University, as a Projects and Investmens Officer, managing various projects, resource mobilization and M&E. He is also a part-time lecturer in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences (Department of AgriSciences). Chiza holds a Masters Degree in Transformative Community Development from the University of Ireland, Maynooth in collaboration with Mzuzu University.

Club Marketing & Communications Chairperson - Jodawe Lungu

Jodawe was born on 2nd January, 1976 and hails from Masabani Village in Mpherembe - Mzimba District of Malawi. He is a marketing professional. Being a Chartered Marketer, heis specialised in sales management and customer relationship managemnet. Jodawe currently works with Toyota Malawi and has serverd in the motor vehice industry for 17 years where he held postions ranging from Logistics Manager, Parts Manager to the current Branch Manager for the North. He holds a Diploma in Marketing (CIM), a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM), a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from University of Wales and a Masters Degree in Bunisness Adminstration from Amity University.

Gabriel is a seasoned Level 1 Chartetred Accoutant who specialises in Auditing, Information Systems and Project Management. Born in 1977, Gabriel found the love of his life who made him settle and just enjoy being a Lion.

Club Member - Lion Alice Chemula

Alice is a seasoned banker who was born on 22 Dec 1983. She is married and blessed with 2 kids. Currently, she is working with NBS Bank PLC as Team Leader for SME – North. Alice is a Holder of a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from University of Malawi – The Polytechnic (2009). She also holds a Diploma in Banking majoring in Credit Management from The Institute of Bankers in Malawi (2015)

Club Member - Lion Isaac Matidza

Isaac is an experienced professional in Real Estate with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate industry at both local & international levels. Currently, he is the Dean in the The Facaulty of Environmental Sciences and a Lecturer in Estate Management in the Department of The Built Environment at Mzuzu University. He is skilled in Lease Administration, Real Estate Valuation, Real Estate Development, and Property Management, Estate Agency, Customer Relationship Management, Marketing & Consumer Behavior. Isaac is a strong real estate professional with a Bachelor of Science in Land Management-Real Estate Management from Mzuzu University, Malawi. Holder of Master of Management in Business Administration from School of Economy & Management, Harbin Institute of Technology in P.R China.
