Mission Trip to Toluca, Mexco
The Lions Club members, Dr. Melody Tavakoli from San Diego, CA, Lisa Verity from Troy, MO, Marlene Payne from Webb City, MO, Dr. Don Negri from Fresno, CA, Doris Eagle from Columbia, MO, Jim Tesreau from Kimberling City, MO, Dr. Sue Gordon from San Jose, CA, Charles Callier from St. Charles, MO and Ron Hopkins from St. Peters, MO, just returned from a hugely successful mission trip to Toluca, Mexico. The Lion’s Club in Toluca hoped the group would be able to see 250 patients on Friday, May 21 and 250 patients on Saturday, May 22. The total number of patients seen was 1,197 in those two days. It is truly amazing what can be done in such a short amount of time with limited resources. Many of the people were able to see for the first time with the glasses provided by the Lions Club. Your eyeglass donation can change a life.
