Lions Give
The Mountain Home Lions club helps make our community a better place to live. And we matter locally, because people know that they can count on us to pitch in. Whether it is on improving eyesight – or other community service projects, – our adopted service proprograms allow us to work on a diverse array of projects.
- Lions give everyone the opportunity to live a healthy life. Since Helen Keller challenged Lions to be “knights of the blind” in 1925, clubs like ours have worked on sight projects.
- Lions give youth the chance to learn, grow and serve. Today’s children are our future. That’s why many Lions clubs choose to work on youth projects such as sponsoring a Leo club, a local Peace Poster Contest or a Youth Camp and Exchange – or providing services for children and youth in need.
- Lions give assistance to our planet and its inhabitants. Lions also work to protect our environment – and help people in need around the globe. Through our Community/Environment, International Relations and Disaster Relief programs, you can do projects that improve your community – and our world.
