MONTROSE LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS
The mission statement of Lions Club International is as follows: To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs. In keeping with the motto of the Lions Clubs "We Serve" the Montrose Lions Club, a community service organization, has chosen to offer college students the opportunity to apply for scholarships provided by our club. The Montrose Lions Club will distribute three (3) $2000.00 scholarships each year.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Graduated from a high school in Montrose County Colorado
2. Attained a 3.0 GPA or better
3. Submit completed scholarship documents prior to March 15
