Right now, there are children in need of adequate nutrition at the Mill Hall Elementary School. Schools provide breakfast and lunch during the school week, but what do hungry children do over the weekend? Blessings in a Backpack is the answer. We will provide backpacks of nutritious food for a child to take home for the weekend. When they bring back the the backpack on Monday, we will fill it again for the following weekend. This costs a mere $80 per child for the year. There are nearly 150 children in need at the Mill Hall Elementary School. Please help the Mill Hall Area Lions get this project off the ground so that we can help these children, giving them a real opportunity for success.
