Happy New Year and welcome to 2025! This year, Merrillville Lions Club will celebrate 79 years of service to the Merrillville community. We strive to improve service to our community, state, nation and world.

Since 1946 we have been part of the Merrillville community.  The Lions are men and women who volunteer their time to conduct service projects for humanitarian causes in their local and world communities.  Through their service and fund raising projects the Lions strive to help those in need wherever the need exists.    

We are in our 78th Year of existence in Merrillville. 

2024 a year in review! In October our club turned 78 years young. We are proud to continue the tradition of serving in Merrillville and look forward to stregthening our club throughout the year. We strive to improve our community in a variety of ways. If you find yourself wondering or wanting to get involved yourself, we always welcome new members. Ways Merrillville Lions Club were involved in 2024...

• Collecting eyeglass donations from many locations throughout Merrillville
• Participated and helped facilitate Merrillville's 4th of July Parade!
• Participated and helped in Merrillville's National Night Out!
• Participated in Trunk or Treat Events!
• Had members go and participate at District Convention and State Convention!
• Candy mint donation boxes throughout Merrillville
• Helping residents with various ailments in Merrillville and beyond
• Participating in other community events
• Hosting various fundraisers
• Commuity Clean-up Projects
