The first service activity of lions club meerut Samrat was performed on 15 August at Devi Ahilya Bai

 Inter College Village Lisari Tehsil and District Meerut. In our last board meeting unamous decision was made about distribution of stationary i.e. copy, pen, pencil, eraser & sharpner to the 300 needy students on this day.

Several members collected at given destination and reached the venue at 8.10 am. National flag was hosted by our Charter President Lion Ramautar Agarwal followed by speeches by President Lion Ashish Agarwal and by our Zone Chairperson Lion Ajaypal Varma. Lion Praveen Rawat, Lion Vikram Kathuria, Lion D.K Pal, Lion Gurnam Singh, Lion Vipin Gupta had participated in this event.

The students of Devi  Ahilya Bai Inter College performed patriotic songs, poems  and dance on this national occasion. At the end we distributed stationary to students.

The happiness in the faces of students can not be expressed in words. I felt pride to be lion at that vary moment.
