Our Valentine's Day Party 2012 turned out much different than we planned....

On February 14, 2012 Lion Henry Little had a heart attack while attending the Mauldin Lions Club Valentine party. All members took part in helping Lion Henry at this time. Lion Mark McCraw gave CPR and Ms Debbie Tidmarsh monitored Lion Henry’s condition and did chest compressions. Lion Chris Mangelsen was in touch with EMS until they arrived. Doctors at the hospital stated that Lion Henry would not have survived had not the Lions been there to give him the care that he received. Lion Mark McCraw and Debbie Tidmarsh were recognized at the District 32-A District Convention on January 12, 2013. Lion Mark was awarded the Lions Recognition medal and Ms Debbie Tidmarsh was awarded a Presidential Certificate of Appreciation.  On January 12, 2013 all of the members of the Mauldin Lions Club lived up to our motto “We Serve”.  Pictured are, left to right are: PID Gene Spiess, Ms. Debbie Tidmarsh, Lion Henry Little, Lion Dr. Mark McCraw, PDG David Boalt, and ID Robert E.
