Projects for 2013 included:

- A renovation of our clubhouse at the athletic field for our warm/cool weather club meetings.  (Thanks to Lions member, Larry Hart, for all his hard work!)

- Enlarging the parking area for the athletic field, used by Marcellus Girls Lacrosse League

- Improving drainage for the driveway, parking area, and athletic field.

For 2014, our projects include:

- A new metal roof on Cabin 9 at the Lions "Camp Badger" in Spencer, NY, which serves physically and visually impaired children, and Veterans with PTSD.  To this end we're seeking contributions of metal roofing, installation expertise and labor.

The Holidays:

At Christmas, we have our Senior Christmas Bag distribution and caroling at local senior apartments, complete with Santa and refreshments.  The Marcellus Elementary 2nd grade art students decorate paper bags from our local Nojaim's Supermarket, which we fill with all kinds of goodies!

One of our ongoing projects includes collecting roadside trash on a 2-mile section of Route 174 (Otisco Valley Road) from Route 20 south to the Otisco Lake dam, each Spring and Fall.

We easily collect about 200 pounds of trash, which goes to the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency (OCRRA) for sorting, recycling and disposal.

Other projects are the cleaning, and upkeep and maintenance of Cabin 9 - our adopted building at Camp Badger.  Each Spring we head down to sweep out, clean, paint, and repair the cabin to make it ready for the kids.
